BumpDate: 20 Weeks Pregnant

Notes:  People KNOW I’m pregnant now- even strangers.  It’s fun!  Comparing pictures with Adler though- MAN is my belly bigger this go round.  Weight gain is the same- belly is bigger.

Weight Gain: 9 ish pounds.

Food Cravings:  I crave sugar but it makes me sick.  Other than that I have very few cravings.  I’m back to eating my OWN salads and enjoying dinners I cook- yay!  I am experiencing some indigestion and feel full really easily- especially in the evening.

Early Morning Pre-Workout:  handful blueberries plus coffee

Breakfast:  2 eggs plus 2 egg whites scrambled with mushrooms, 1/3 cup oatbran cooked with blueberries or 1/2 peach

Lunch:  Salad with lots of veggies, rotisserie chicken, hummus, nuts, and a tiny bit of dried fruit with homemade viniagrette.

Snack:  Apple and almond butter

Dinner:  Protein plus veggies.  Lots of soups, chili (pumpkin chili yum!!), herb coated meats baked in the oven, taco salads.

Aversions:  NONE.  Sugar tastes good, but I can’t handle it!

Exercise:  I think I’m actually stronger and have better endurance than I did at my last check in.  I am starting to notice that I get breathless pretty easily.  I ran a really cold 5K this week and felt great!

Sleep:  I sleep like a champ.  It’s wonderful!  I also really try to nap during the day as I get up really early in the morning and wear out by the time Adler naps.

Weird Things:  I’m allergic to my wedding ring! This happened with Adler- so sad!

Emotions:  It was really hard moving Adler to his big boy bed.  Many- he’s growing up!  The fact that we’re really going to have another baby is sinking in.

Things I miss:  Wine.  Still.  I would really like to have a glass I’m not gonna lie.  Also sleeping on my tummy.

Big Brother Notes:  Every name we share with Adler is terrible in his opinion.  “No Mommy, his name is baby brother”.
