Momsanity Recipe: Savory Skinny Breakfast Muffins

Need a new and exciting breakfast idea?  Try out this creation from Chantelle Stevenson- a busy new mom and the inspiration behind 5-Star Fitness Revolution.  Personally, I love this recipe because it’s super quick & easy AND I already had all of these ingredients on hand!  (Anything that saves me a trip to the grocery during nap time gets two thumbs up!)

These savory breakfast muffins are fat loss friendly and the options are ENDLESS… from broccoli to bacon- add any of your favorite breakfast meats or veggies to the muffin that’s already full of protein to keep you full and complex carbs to give you energy and you’ll be all set to burn fat and balance hunger and cravings all day long!

 

 

Ingredients-

3 eggs
1 cup of spinach
1 organic turkey sausage
1/4 cup of cheese (optional)
1/2 of organic sweet potato, cooked


Directions-

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Puree eggs, spinach, sweet potato, sausage until thoroughly a pourable mixture
  3. Pour into non-stick cupcake tin
  4. Sprinkle the cheese in even amounts over your muffins
  5. Bake for 15-20 mins
  6. Enjoy!
