Sister Spotlight: Jennifer Frick


Each month we are featuring one of our Sisters from the Momsanity Sisterhood!  This month’s sister has made healthy changes that have impacted her entire family!  Meet Jennifer Frick!

ALL ABOUT JENNIFER:

In September of 2013 I joined the Momsanity Sisterhood. I expected that joining would be temporary. I would follow the program for a couple of months, see no changes, and quit- just like I had with Weight Watchers, and every infomercial I’d ever purchased a diet plan from before. Now, in March of 2014 I still love being part of Momsanity. I’ve lost fat and gained muscle. I’ve learned to cook and exercise differently, more efficiently, more healthily. My body is happy, my husband is happy, and my children dont know the difference in the food that hits the table- but WE do. We are proud for the changes we’ve made. I am in awe at how many friendships Momsanity has fostered. The exercises and recipes have gone from something I had to learn to do, to something that is normal for me. Momsanity is part of my every day, every meal, and every choice. Having three coaches is amazing, and a huge blessing.

JENNIFER’S FAVORITE RECIPE:  COACH KATE’S TURKEY MEATLOAF

Coach Kate has an awesome Turkey Meatloaf recipe that is my go to on nights when I need something healthy and easy. I highly recommend it!! Simple use 2 lbs of ground turkey- (seasoned for beef lovers) – add in fresh cut purple onion, green peppers, red peppers, spinach, a handful of frozen corn, garlic powder, cracked black pepper, 1 egg, and ground oats. I chop purple and red potatoes and let them roast around the cooking meatloaf in the oven- so the children nibble on those with their dinner. On the side I sautee green beans, and serve a big salad! (Since this is one of my weekly go to meals, I have the peppers in a bag chopped and frozen, which is a time saver!)
